Frequently Asked & Question

The Serengeti stands out as Tanzania’s oldest and most globally recognized national park, offering unmatched wildlife diversity and breathtaking landscapes. Its most famous attraction is the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest, zebras, and antelopes move across the plains in search of fresh grazing. This extraordinary natural event, combined with the park’s large populations of lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife, provides an immersive experience you rarely find anywhere else in Africa.

This tour gives you excellent chances of spotting the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with endless plains filled with giraffes, zebras, gazelles, topi, eland, and many more species. The Serengeti is home to over 500 bird species and the world’s largest concentration of predators, meaning every day in the park brings new and exciting sightings.

The Great Migration is a natural event that depends on seasonal rains, so sightings vary throughout the year. However, the Serengeti is vast and the migration moves constantly, meaning there is always a good chance of spotting part of the herds depending on your travel dates. Even outside peak migration months, the Serengeti provides outstanding game viewing with abundant resident wildlife.

You will stay in comfortable lodges or tented camps within the Serengeti, offering ensuite facilities, delicious meals, and prime access to game-viewing areas. Serengeti accommodation is designed to blend comfort with wilderness, allowing you to enjoy stunning views, campfire evenings, and the sounds of nature right at your doorstep.

Yes, a hot air balloon safari can be added upon request and is one of the most breathtaking experiences in the Serengeti. This early-morning flight gives you a bird’s-eye view of the vast plains and wildlife, followed by a champagne breakfast in the bush. Guided bush walks can also be arranged in select areas, giving you a closer, more intimate encounter with the environment.
